Summary

After an emotional few weeks in Walford, secrets are set to explode for some of the residents.

Sharon and Michelle talk. Sharon reveals that Denise is having Phil's baby and decides that she will go with Michelle when she returns to the USA. However, Michelle says it will not work as she has not booked a flight. Michelle reveals that she and Tim have not had sex in two years because she has gained weight and reached middle age and he no longer finds her attractive. Sharon then realises that she and Phil were not together when Denise got pregnant, so she cannot be angry. Michelle reveals that she fell in love, spending a year with someone else, and planned to divorce Tim. It turned out he was a student and his mother found out; Michelle was forced to resign as a teacher and Tim then asked her for a divorce and she has lost everything. Sharon says that kind of secret should have been left a secret and that Michelle has not changed since they were children. Michelle says that she does not fit in anywhere anymore and her only friend who would not judge was Sharon. When pushed by Sharon, Michelle reveals that the student, Preston, was 17. Sharon is relieved and tells Michelle she is welcome to stay.
