Summary[]
Phil chats up Julie in the Queen Vic, and they agree to meet for a date the next night. Grant gets wind of it and tells Julie that Phil has had to go and see an ill mate, leaving him to spend the evening with her himself. Pat goes behind Frank's back and organises the family to see a psychiatric social worker to try and sort out the problems with Janine.
Kathy is relieved to be told Laurie is fine. Shirley, Laurie's sister, explains to Kathy how much she has hurt him. Pat angers Frank when she reveals she has set them up for a family therapy session. Phil gets to know Julie. She shows him where she lives so that he can visit her some time. Frank agrees to attend the family therapy session so that he can prove Pat and the therapist that his family life is golden. Mo is supposed to attend the session but fails to show. Julie is informed by her accountant that her business is going under and she should consider selling it. The family therapy session gets underway. The therapist notices Frank talking for Pat a lot. Pat explains how Janine makes her feel and is relieved to finally be opening up about her emotions. Mo eventually turns up at the session just as Frank considers walking out. She stops him and ensures the therapy session continues. Grant takes a liking to Julie and wants to take her out on a date. The therapist recommends the Butcher family attend some more sessions. Julie invites Grant into her flat after realising he will not take no for an answer. Michelle tells Kathy not to be fooled by Laurie or his sister. Julie considers taking things to the next level with Grant, but he wants to take things slowly. Pat tells Frank she wants him to stop searching for Diane. |
