|
Ronnie is shocked to discover that Jack did nothing to stop Roxy leaving for Spain. Jack explains that he was thinking of Amy; who claimed she was all right with Roxy leaving. Ronnie darts across the Square as Roxy goes to climb into a taxi. Ronnie firmly tells Roxy that she's not letting her leave; it's not up for debate. Sharon asks Amy whether she's really fine with Roxy leaving; Amy admits that she's not. Back at number 27, Roxy sobs to Ronnie that she can't cope any more. At the Mitchells', Sharon assures Amy that she's done nothing wrong, before promising her takeaway pizza with all the family for tea. Roxy, Ronnie and Jack arrive at the Mitchells'; Roxy hugs Amy tight. Billy arrives at number 55 and tells Sharon that as Les has taken ill, he'll be in charge of Peggy's funeral alone. Sharon snaps - she doesn't need to know; he just needs to make sure that everything is sorted. Roxy confides in Sharon - she thought that running away was the only option. Sharon tells Roxy that family are important; she'll always be there for her. Sharon asks Roxy to go through old photos of Peggy with her, to help choose which ones should be put up in the Vic tomorrow. Roxy admits to Sharon that she'd love to be like her; wise and mature. Sharon smirks and shows Roxy a picture of Grant - before admitting that when she saw him again, it felt as though the last twenty years had never happened. Sharon panics that she's going to have to see Grant again and isn't sure what she'll do. Roxy tells Sharon that she's given up the lease on her flat; Sharon assures her that she can stay at number 55. As Jack returns to number 27 with pizzas, he clocks Sam on the Square paying for a cab. Jack locks eyes with the young boy that's with her. Sharon greets Sam and Richard; but is confused that Phil and Grant aren't with her. Jack informs Ronnie that Sam has arrived - with their son; he can't face a family gathering so asks her to make an excuse for him at the Mitchells'. Sam tells Sharon that Grant's not coming; Sharon struggles to hide her disappointment. She's worried when Sam states that the last time that she saw Phil, he was heading for duty-free. Ronnie's frosty as she greets Sam and Richard. Phil arrives back - Sharon's thrilled to see him sober. Alone in the kitchen with Roxy, Sharon panics that Grant's told Sam about the moment she and Grant shared. Sharon snaps at Sam when she winds her up about Grant; it was a kiss on the cheek, it meant nothing. Sam smirks and claims that she now knows there's something to know about Sharon and Grant. |
