Ian is nervous yet excited as his wedding day arrives. Cindy and Michelle have a heart-to-heart. Trevor is convinced he is having supernatural experiences in Mo's flat.

Pete gets some of the market traders to put a car in front of Laurie's stall. Laurie accuses Pete of parking it there, but Pete laughs his accusations off, telling him he has no proof.

Simon receives a phone call from Pauline, who is unable to get a train back from Leigh-on-Sea in time for the wedding.

Dot manages to get herself an invite to the wedding.

Ian reassures Pauline that she has not let anyone down for not being able to attend the big day.

Marge wonders what it would be like to marry.

Dot is unable to find Ian's wedding suit at the launderette.

Frank and Pat start moving their belongings into the B&B.

Simon visits Cindy before the wedding. Cindy tries one last time to get Simon to runaway with her, but is unsuccessful.

Dot finds Ian's wedding suit.

Simon tries to get out of being Ian's best man, but Ian refuses to let him go.

Ian, Kathy, Pete and Simon head to the registry office and wait for Cindy and Michelle. Cindy and Michelle arrive late. Pete compliments Cindy. Cindy shoves Pete when he gets too much for her. Pete storms off, missing the wedding. Cindy and Ian marry, and the guests head back to Pete's flat for celebrations afterwards, although all the guests are quiet and Cindy is visibly unhappy. Once the guests leave, Ian has a go at Cindy for her behaviour. Cindy reminds Ian he did not have to marry her. Ian walks off to find Pete. Cindy cries alone in the flat in her wedding dress.
