Summary[]
Diane has a run-in with Julie. Michelle tackles Pauline about her ill health. Ricky is intent on showing off to his new girlfriend Marie, which goes badly wrong.

Rod hides Hazel in the living room as Dot heads to work the next morning. Once she has gone, Hazel emerges from the house. Dot realises she has forgotten her keys to the launderette and finds Hazel outside her house as she returns. Hazel tells Dot she came to see her and wants her to teach her how to knit. Pat warns Sharon and Simon to never host bets in the Vic again. She also tells Simon that Frank is having second thoughts about him managing the Vic. Pauline appears worn out. Mo comments on her appearance. Ricky tells Diane that Paul was with Julie at the hair salon, upsetting her. Ali faces problems with social services over his care of son. Laurie has lunch with Kathy and gets to know her better. She queries him on his wife - he tells her that she is dead. Kathy notices Pauline looking tired and worn out. Diane makes a scene at the Vic with Julie, embarrassing Paul. Sohail and Ashraf clash. Ethel is in a state following her run-in with Margaret. She visits Number 45 to see Lou, forgetting that she is dead. Mo and Pauline comfort her. Marge continues to struggle working at the launderette and has a break down. Diane apologises to Paul for embarrassing him and tells him she wants him to take them away for a romantic weekend, so that she can make it up to him. Ricky decides to take Marie for a test drive in his new car, despite not having a licence. As he speeds up through the Square, Pauline emerges from the pavement. Ricky hits Pauline, knocking her unconscious. |
