Summary[]
Diane continues her campaign of harassment towards Julie, which completely backfires. Pat and Mo both try to persuade Frank that they have to confront Janine to sort out her problems. Ethel receives some unexpected news.

Pauline quits her job at the launderette. Dot hears of Pauline's plans to leave and decides to buy her a leaving present. Marge decides she wants to apply for Pauline's job. Cindy heads to Devon with her mother to look for houses. Trevor continues to make a fool of himself on the stall. Arthur is unsure about where to go on holiday with Pauline. Simon asks Frank if he can take Sharon on working at the Vic with Cindy gone for the week. Pauline learns that Marge is going to apply for her job once she has left. Diane gets an idea to phone Julie an escort. Mo takes Janine out for some quality bonding time. Ricky visits Julie's hair salon again to purchase a comb, using it as an excuse to ask Marie out on another date. Dot, Ethel, Marge and Mo wait for Reggie's arrival at Dot's house. When Reggie finally arrives, Ethel tells him that the other ladies are worried about finding a dance partner for the old time dancing. Reggie says he wants to choose one of the ladies to dance with. Ethel gets upset over Reggie's comment, thinking he was going to be dancing with her. She walks off. Marie goes on a date with Ricky and then tells him she has a 30 year-old boyfriend. Julie takes her male escort to the Vic and then tells Diane she will be paying his bill for her. Pauline questions whether she wants to leave the launderette or not now she knows that Marge is going to go for her job. Mo and Janine return from their day out together. Mo catches Janine with Pat's jewellery in her hand and realises it was her whole stole it in the first place. Janine denies stealing anything. Ethel heads to the Vic to phone Benny, hoping he will be her dance partner. She receives a shock when she learns that he is dead. |
