Poppy tentatively tells Bobby Monty's dead. Bobby's upset he's lost the money. Poppy goes to reimburse him but Bobby says that's not enough for a snake. Poppy and Dot are horrified. Dot panics – the vicar's coming over for the meeting. Poppy grabs Jay and Dexter to help. She thinks she's found the snake and the boys back away. Fatboy arrives to collect the Victoria sponge Dot has baked for the vicar. He's rearranged the meeting to the B&B. He finds the 'snake' but discovers it's only shed skin. Dot doesn't like the vicar's curate – she's stuck up. Dot says the church should be reaching out to people advertising as prostitutes in the newspaper. To prove her point, she calls a number but a phone in the room rings… it's Jenna's, who's been running a masseuse service from her room. Dot berates Kim. Going to leave, Dot yelps as she finds Monty in her handbag. Jenna runs in, her coat falling open to reveal her prostitute's clothes. Abi and Jay are excited when Max shows interest in the car. Sam spies Jay fluffing up the deal with Max and buys the car off Jay. Abi's thrilled to have holiday money but when Jay says it was Sam, she's torn about not telling Dexter. She looks on, worried as Jay and Dexter celebrate. Masood's back from Birmingham. He's worried that Carol has been ignoring his calls. Whitney refuses to let Carol ignore him. Carol's offish with Masood. Janine's spotted Phil's club event: 'Getting Hammered'. She gets Sharon on board to wind up Phil about running a series of gay nights. Janine's delighted to have wrested some control from him. She's hyper, chatting away to Alice. When Alice tries reminding Janine of Michael, she closes her down. Michael insists Alice persevere. |
