Summary[]
Dot agrees to see Hazel, who tricked her over her `granddaughter'. Mo takes Trevor under her wing. Cindy and Pauline have health crises. Rod questions his future in Walford.
Dot and Rod confide in each other about Donna's death. Rod considers leaving Walford because he has let Donna down. Pauline makes a doctors appointment with David. Anthea suggests a new computer which has the ability to diagnose patients based on symptoms they present. Rod notices Donna's death is not the only thing playing on Dot's mind. Dot tells Rod about Hazel and Nick's con. Cindy ensures Sharon cannot leave work to get Simon his birthday present by heading off to the surgery just as she plans to go out. David allows patients to read their medical notes at the surgery. Pauline is disheartened to learn Doctor Legg has written she is "disadvantaged". Dot is shocked by how many notes she has and that she has been labelled a "hypochondriac". David refers Pauline to a consultant for more tests, giving her medication in the meantime. Mo decides to take Trevor under her wing and allows him to live with her. Cindy's pregnancy is confirmed by David. Hazel returns to the Square to see Dot. Sharon makes sure Cindy is okay. Cindy assures her she is and tells her to take the afternoon off of work to treat Simon. Dot finds Hazel at the café. Hazel tells Dot that she only conned her of her money so that she could give it to Nick. She admits that Nick has left her and has not been seen in over a week. Dot expresses sympathy for Hazel and is convinced she has misunderstood her. David is stunned to learn Doctor Legg is back in the UK. Rod tells Dot he is going to stick around and look after her. Dot tells Rod she will find him a job with her influential powers. He asks her what she is up to - she innocently smiles and tells him to "wait and see". |
