Ricky annoys Ashraf with his meddling in the shop. Dot is unable to find her granddaughter and Vicki is in hospital.

Doctor Legg sits reflectively in the surgery following Vicki's meningitis diagnosis. Pauline visits Sharon to tell her the news. Sharon is shocked. Pauline blames Doctor Legg for missing Vicki's symptoms. David tries to defend Doctor Legg but has difficulty. Arthur tries to make Pauline realise that blame is not the answer. Frank tries to tell Ian he is getting his jeep fixed but Ian is not interested. Dot worries her granddaughter has meningitis after learning that Vicki has it. She sets off on her mission to find her. David points out a number of patients to Doctor Legg that he has deceived or let down, including Colin and Donna. Mo and Marge plan another demonstration but want a man to go with them. Frank suggests Simon, so he lies and says he has work. Michelle worries as she stays by Vicki's side at hospital. Doctor Legg tries apologising to Pauline for his neglectful attitude towards Vicki. Sharon visits the hospital. Michelle breaks down in her arms, frightened at what the future may hold for her daughter. Ricky torments Ashraf once more in the shop. He gets physical with them. Ricky threatens Ashraf with Frank, but Frank catches him and shouts at him. Doctor Legg resigns from the surgery immediately and heads off to Israel, leaving David to run the surgery with a locum. Ali visits Hassan's grave. He sees Sue at Hassan's graveside with Little Ali. Whilst Sue's back is turned, he kidnaps her. |
