Summary[]

Lauren tells Tanya and Max the truth behind Ian's disappearance. Michael faces the reality of becoming a full-time father. Joey meddles between Anthony and Alice.


Lauren tells Whitney about her sighting of Ian. The girls confess the whole story of Ian's disappearance to Max and Tanya who, accompanied by Alfie, quickly head off in search of Ian. Lauren and Whitney apologise to Lucy and, without telling her what's going on, linger in the cafe waiting for news. Lucy's content, convinced she's better off without her dad – she's got Joey and Bobby's happy. With the help of a homeless woman called Betty, Max, Tanya and Alfie track Ian down to an underpass where he's been sleeping rough. Ian's filthy and dressed in tattered clothing. Back home, Tanya tries to clean Ian up. He won't speak and refuses to let her remove his hat. Tanya and Max take Ian to the Beales'. Shocked, Lucy slams the door in Ian's face.

Poppy warns Anthony about the flower mix up, instructing him to be nice. When Alice thanks him for the flowers, Anthony finds himself agreeing to a date the following day. Joey isn't keen on Anthony. Lucy, Lauren and Whitney tell Joey to let Alice make her own mistakes but he tells Derek about the date.

Ben's proud of himself, he's been a success on the fruit and veg stall. Realising Ben and Jay aren't getting on Lola and Billy force them to spend time together building a chair for Lexi, without instructions. Ben and Jay argue as they construct, Jay tells Ben he doesn't think of him as a brother anymore and they can't go back to the way things were. However, Jay insists they have to appear as if they're getting on to make Lola happy.

Anxious because Scarlett's coming home soon, Michael suggests a boys night out to Alfie but Alfie's preoccupied by news of Ian. Alone, Michael does his best to prepare No.27 for Scarlett's arrival.
