Summary[]
Dot has to face the sudden death of Donna. Kathy, Pauline and Mo offer their sympathy. Doctor Samuels is furious with Doctor Legg about what he feels was his mishandling of Donna's case. Sharon asks Wicksy if he's ever tried smack, but he says he can't stand injections. Sharon says a bloke at work once offered her some to smoke, but she didn't want to know when she saw the effect it had on him.

Pauline wonders what the family should do about the money that Sharon has given them. Pauline and Arthur hear sirens outside but think nothing more of it. Dot is in shock. Donna's body is taken away as she struggles to comprehend what has happened. Sharon rummages through Den's belongings. She phones Simon and asks to see him. David is angry with Doctor Legg for his ignorance towards Donna when she needed him most. Dot lights a candle for Donna and sits in her living room alone. Doctor Legg checks up on her. Cindy continues her quest to seduce Ian, although he is more interested in his finances. There is a knock on door of the flat. It is Kathy. She tells Ian and Pete that Donna has died. Pat tells Simon that she is putting his room back up for rent at the Vic. He is unhappy about it. Dot arrives at the Vic to use the phone. She calls Rose and tells her she needs to talk to Charlie. She tells Charlie they need to look out for Nick as she does not want him to die from drug use. Dot then returns home and Kathy visits her. They talk about Donna and Kathy gets emotional. Ashraf and Sufia worry about Sohail turning to drugs. Mo and Pauline both visit Dot to ensure she is coping. Cindy upsets Kathy with her harsh words about Donna. Mr Ludlow visits Kathy. She runs off upon seeing him and breaks down in Arthur's arms. Doctor Legg tells David he expects an apology for him, or else he will consider terminating their partnership. Mr Ludlow reveals to Dot that he and Mrs Ludlow both knew about Donna's drug habits but could not do anything about it. He tells Dot that no one could ever give Donna enough love, and now no one will know the reason why either. |
