Summary[]
The Square come to terms with the death of a resident. Sharon and Simon spend time together at Sharon's flat.
Ali visits Ian at the café to reassure him that everything will be back to normal in the next week. Mo praises Sharon on her determination to carry on with life, while Dot tells Mo she is dishing out the wrong advice and Sharon should be crying until her heart is content. Cindy avoids Sharon, not knowing what to say to her. Ian hugs Sharon and gets overwhelmed with emotions. Pat cannot help but cry as she takes in the news. Cousins of Den visit the Vic and mourn him. Sue tries to get her and Ali's relationship back on track. Ali is hesitant around her. Kathy wants to visit Sharon and ensure she is okay. Pete decides to go with her. They meet Sharon at her flat, where she accepts their condolences before walking out to see Simon. DI Ashley tells Sharon that the person they have pulled in for questioning has confirmed they saw Den shot. He then tells her they found blood on a blade of grass and are testing it to see if it is Den's. Michelle visits Pauline in a state over Vicki losing her father. Ali tells Sue he wants her to pack her bags and leave the flat by tomorrow morning. Dot relishes the attention she gets from mourning Den. Frank tells Ian to pay him a £1000 deposit so that they have a 100% loan for the jeep. Ian loves the sound of Frank's deal and pays immediately. Frank tells him he will pay him back with the commission he earns. Carmel receives a formal warning at work. She blames Junior for it. Matthew tells Carmel that he will make Junior work with him at his music shop two nights a week to keep him out of trouble - she is grateful. Sharon and Simon reminisce about Den and his time in the Vic. Sharon is finally overcome with grief and cries. |
