Summary[]
Billy and Julie receive heartbreaking news when they finally pay a visit to their son. Janine takes pleasure in rubbing her new-found wealth in everyone's faces.
|
Janine realises that although she's rich in theory, in reality she's broke until her inheritance money comes through. Pat and Phil refuse to lend her money, but Syed's kind and tells her how to get a short term loan. After hearing Tanya gossiping about her, Janine refuses to pay for the treatments she's had at the salon. Janine later returns to Pat's house with presents, but Ricky throws her out after she gives Liam and Morgan lavish gifts and Tiffany nothing. Janine tells Ryan she's going to stay in a posh hotel – one of their fantasies. Ryan insists he'd rather sleep rough! Tamwar and Afia return from honeymoon but have nowhere to live. Annoyed after Christian gets drunk with Roxy when he should have been preparing for the social worker's visit, Syed tells Tamwar and Afia they can stay on the sofa. Darren's summoned to the Cotswolds to help out while his dad has his bunions done. Jodie's relieved when she's told she doesn't have to go with him. Fatboy's determined to find a proper job to provide for him and Mercy. Dot helps Fatboy hone his interview technique. Rescuing Fatboy from a disastrous attempt to ask Phil for work, Darren asks Fatboy if he'll cover for him at the car lot. |
