Michelle prepares herself for Den's court hearing. Kathy returns to the Square to see Ian and Pete.
|
Kathy returns to the Square to see Ian and Pete. Pete is out, while Ian tells Kathy that he has gotten engaged to Cindy. Kathy is surprised by Ian's news. Ian then tells Simon about his engagement to Cindy, but Simon is too hungover to care. Pauline tries one more time to stop Michelle going to the court but is unable to, so she goes with her. One of the hitmen follows the taxi in a car behind, updating Mantel and the other hitmen of their whereabouts. As they approach a country road, a car in the opposite direction deliberately swerves into the taxi containing Den. Den is dragged from the taxi, held at gunpoint, bundled into a car and driven off. Kathy comes face-to-face with Pete and explains their marriage is truly over. Den is driven to Mantel's warehouse where he is held hostage by different hitmen until Mantel decides he wants to talk to him. Den starts to worry about how he is going to die. DI Ashley learns that Den has escaped and is furious. He immediately heads to the Square to see Sharon. Brad offers to keep an eye on Den whilst the other hitmen take a break. Den begs Brad to help him out, but Brad is reluctant to. After some smooth talking, Brad agrees to help Den. Together, they manage to lock the hitmen in the warehouse. Brad then rushes to his car and drives off before Den can get in, leaving him to fend for himself. |
