Summary[]

Zainab is outraged when she discovers the truth about Masood's new source of income, while Tamwar and Afia prepare to come clean about their secret marriage.

Yusef sees Masood handing money to Phil. He tells Denise, who in turn mentions it to Zainab. Zainab confronts Masood and is furious when he admits he's been playing poker for Phil, not working extra shifts at the sorting office. Masood's livid when Zainab suggests borrowing money from Yusef. Afia and Tamwar decide to come clean about being married, but end up setting a wedding date instead. Finding Zainab upset and vulnerable, Yusef talks her into visiting Syed. It's an emotional visit, but after a short time, Zainab abruptly leaves. Masood goes to 'work' despite Zainab begging him not to. Zainab phones someone and asks them to meet her in private - she's never stopped loving them.

The power of being 'in charge' of the Minute Mart goes to Heather's head during Zainab's induction. Jay and Ben enjoy composing a message to Heather from 'Kevin68' inviting her for a drink in the Vic. Seeing Heather waiting alone in the pub, Jay tells Ben they have to stop the joke. Nathan taunts Ben again, knowing Ben can't retaliate. Later, Ben talks online to Heather as Kevin.

Whitney's thrilled when Ryan arrives home and wants to spend the day with her. Out buying supplies, Ryan discovers what's happened to Whitney in his absence. Whitney realises Ryan knows when he's distant and won't touch her. Whitney tries to explain what happened, but Ryan storms out. Ryan finds Janine and demands to know everything about Rob. Janine tells him that Whitney needs her big brother. Ryan apologises to Whitney and hugs her.

With community meals cancelled, Mercy, Fatboy and Kim descend on Dot with a selection of home-cooked food. Edward arrives and throws everyone out before taking Dot to the Vic. After Edward leaves, Dot's feels lonely.

Fatboy learns that Ashley has reported Mercy to immigration.
