Summary[]

The police question Pete. Nancy Jacobs, an Australian, turns up at the Vic for a trial shift as the first day of the all day opening arrives. Rod struggles to help Donna.

The police and ambulance arrive at the scene of the crash. Roly has been hit by the car, while Mehmet is furious with Pete and tells the police of his recent charges.

Dot tells the police she saw what happened.

Diane, Frank and Pat worry about Roly.

Arthur tells Pauline about Pete's crash. She goes to the Vic and gets drunk.

The Detective Constable in charge of the investigation reminds Pete of the new charges he is facing. Dot feels guilty for having to give a witness statement. The Detective Constable tries to get information out of Pete about Den. Pete refuses to talk.

Frank helps Pauline make sense of the situation she is in. Ricky gets Arthur to pick Pauline up from the Vic.

Donna is beaten up by men whilst trying to get money out of them. Rod finds Donna in a state and helps her, but smacks her when he realises she wants money for drugs.

Junior is released from his cell after fake tears and a sob story.

Pauline wakes up hungover and ashamed. Pauline feels she cannot defend Pete anymore.

Pete is released from custody. Ian tells him he is a "waster".

Nancy impresses the locals at the Vic, while Pat tells Frank they are not employing her.

Rod tries to help Donna but feels he is getting nowhere. He phones Donna's adoptive mother and tells her that she needs help urgently.
