Summary[]
Zainab and Masood get much more than they bargained for when they put aside their misgivings and meet with Yusef. Ronnie takes drastic action to stop Roxy and Michael.

When Ronnie discovers that Roxy's slept with Michael she warns Roxy away from him. Ronnie learns that Michael and Kat kissed, and listens to a voicemail Michael leaves for Roxy inviting her to lunch. She deletes it and tells Roxy that Michael kissed Kat. Michael wonders to Glenda why Ronnie is so against him. Ronnie's relieved when she sees Michael loading the car, thinking he's leaving. Glenda realises that Ronnie deleted the voicemail and confronts her. Jack reveals that Michael's only away for the weekend and they're going into business together. Ronnie panics, and tells Jack, Glenda and Roxy that Michael came onto her. Sick of bickering with Max, Jack agrees to go into business with Michael and open a boxing gym. Devastated that Alfie's left, Kat won't get out of bed. Michael convinces Alfie he needs to get away for a few days. Kim attempts to coax Kat out of her bedroom, but it's only when Julie tells her she's the only person who can solve her problems, does Kat get out of bed. She's on her way to the Slaters', but sees Michael and Alfie drive away. She covers her sadness, and tries to be old her self as she runs the pub. Kat agrees to give Jodie a job at the Vic. Yusef's coming over and Masood and Zainab are anxious. Afia arrives, but hides when Yusef arrives early. Masood reveals that Tamwar and Afia are still seeing each other. Afia emerges - she and Tamwar state they're in love. Yusef congratulates them on their engagement. Zainab and Masood are thrown, but Afia's delighted. Later, Masood refuses to let the engagement go ahead, but Zainab knows they'll lose Tamwar if they back out. Dot forgives Heather for stealing when she confesses she can't pay her council tax. Dot takes her to the Citizens Advice Bureau. |
