Summary[]

Shirley, Phil and Glenda are thrown together by an unexpected business venture. Glenda tries not to succumb to Phil's advances again. Meanwhile Carol takes dangerous risks with Connor.


Glenda's reluctantly helping Ronnie with James when Jack announces he's sold the R&R to Phil. Roxy asks Glenda to deal with Phil for her as she can't face him. Glenda's anxious about seeing Phil, but arrives at the club to discuss business decisions on Roxy's behalf. When Shirley's out of the room, Phil hints that he's not over Glenda and offers her a job as Front of House Manager. Shirley's annoyed as that's her job. Glenda's tempted, but says she's not interested. Later, Glenda's determined not to be seduced by Phil. She's reading a self help book, and practices what to say to him in the mirror. She goes to see Phil and insists from now on it's strictly business between them. She tries to say strong but Phil grabs her and kisses her. She responds and they start pulling off each others clothes.

Kat re-opens the pub and is upset that it's empty. Alfie tries to drum up business while Kat talks to Tracey, and discovers she has troubles of her own, she's missing her son too. Kat puts on a brave face behind the bar, but gets a shock when Dot tells her they're starting a collection for a cot death charity.

Connor convinces Carol to come for a drive with him, he wants her to admit she loves him. Carol bolts out of the car, she can't go through all the lying and heartbreak again.

Edward comes to see Dot and asks if she got his thank you note. Dot realises the missing note was a misunderstanding. She's delighted when Edward suggests they have a drink together in the Vic.

Tanya and Greg have a second viewing of Roxy's house.

The Masoods despair that the Argee Bhajee roof won't be fixed in time for the opening until Greg offers to fix it for them.
