Summary[]

Pete is in court. Ian takes his driving test. Kathy confides in Ian about her rape and marriage. Brad is dogged by the police. Nick has a hard time in prison.

Pete is nervous as the day arrives for him to appear in court for drink driving. Kathy tells Arthur she cannot go and support Pete in court because she needs to run her stall.

Nick moves cells and is put into one with Queenie.

Kathy receives a note from a boy on Turpin Road - it is from Willmott-Brown.

Pete is disqualified from driving for a year and fined £150.

Willmott-Brown confronts Kathy on her stall and tries to talk to her again, but she will not listen to him. Kathy heads to the café and shows Ian the note. Ian is disgusted.

Ali and Mehmet bet on the odds of Ian passing his driving test first time, convinced he is going to fail.

Brad spends the day trying to dodge DI Ashley.

Ian passes his driving test and is thrilled. He instantly phones the bank to apply for a business loan. Kathy reminds Ian that Pete is upset following his court outcome, but Ian tells her that he is a selfish man. He then heads off to see Willmott-Brown in a location he asked to meet Kathy. There, Willmott-Brown tells Ian that he will give Kathy £5000.

Dot visits Nick in the prison and gives him a Bible.

Ian tells Kathy about Willmott-Brown's offer.

Donna blackmails Ali for silence over their flirting the previous week.

Pete gets drunk and is forced to sleep it off in the Vic.

Carmel finds dodgy records in her flat and confronts Matthew over them.

Kathy finds Pete in the Vic - he is drinking once again. She tries to stop him but he gets angry with her and stumbles off.

DI Ashley makes Brad a proposition.

Kathy tells Ian she wants to meet Willmott-Brown and take the £5000. Pete heads to Number 45 to see Arthur and gets emotional over Lou no longer being alive. He feels as though he has no one.
