Summary[]
Zainab fights to save her marriage as Tamwar makes a confession. Billy resorts to desperate measures to make ends meet and the identity of the Blue Masquerader is finally revealed.

Zainab claims she didn't tell Masood about Syed, because she was terrified it would wreck his relationship with Syed. Masood's adamant, he'd never have let Syed go through with the wedding, for Amira's sake. Zainab implores Masood not let it pull them apart. Masood agrees, on the understanding that they make decisions together in future. However, when Tamwar announces he's not going to university, Zainab explodes and Masood realises she'll never change. Zainab asks Masood to forgive her, as she has him. When she mentions stealing the post, Masood can't believe she still doubts him. Masood packs Zainab's bags and throws her out. Distraught, Zainab starts to gather up her possessions, someone offers her their hand – it's Syed. Lucy and Ian visit Christian, who's surprised by Ian's supportive attitude. Jane cleans Christian's flat. Christian tells Ian to cherish what he has with Jane. Ian buys Jane a necklace as an early birthday present. Jane's happy, their family isn't perfect, but at least they're honest with each other –Lucy and Ian are left feeling guilty. Pat and Peggy bicker about Harvey until Dot persuades them friendship is more important. Later, Harvey apologises to Pat, telling her he would have chosen her – then says the same to Peggy. Together, Pat and Peggy insist finishing with Harvey was the right thing to do, but when alone, both women are thrilled to receive his texts. Fat Boy and Leon stake out Number 27 and solve the mystery of the 'Blue Masquerader'– it's Peter. Billy borrows money from Dot for the washing machines, but insists he doesn't need any more charity. Billy steals another pile of post. He can't bring himself to take money from a child's birthday card and re-posts most of the mail. In the one remaining parcel he finds a large block of cannabis. |

FATBOY: (to Dot) You all right? So, some rude boy is cussing my man here. Yeah. Making moves on his girl whilst we're tending to business. He is vexed! So it's down to Fats to pull him out of his slum. Do you get what I'm saying?
DOT BRANNING: If you'll forgive me, I ain't fluent in gibberish.
