Summary[]
Arthur, Ian, and Wicksy continue to decorate the house. Kathy receives a letter from Willmott-Brown, and turns to Michelle for advice. Matthew and Carmel celebrate their engagement.
Kathy is unnerved by a letter in the post. Kathy searches for Michelle but only finds Sharon. Sharon notices Kathy is shaken up and offers to help her. Mantel pays Joanne a visit at the wine bar. Arthur, Ian and Simon struggle to put up the wallpaper. Kathy phones Michelle and asks her to visit her in her flat. DS West thinks he is starting to get Den where he wants him. Michelle opens the letter in the post addressed to Kathy and is shocked - it is from Willmott-Brown. He tries to manipulate the situation again. Michelle is furious but tells Kathy it is evidence, so she must not burn it. She also suggests she goes to counselling to try and help her cope with her ordeal, as she still does not appear to be coping. Colin offers to help put the wallpaper up. Ashraf fires Ricky from his paper boy job at the shop. Frank notices Ricky upset and the pair have a heart-to-heart. Carmel tells Matthew they are going to the Vic to celebrate their engagement. When they get there, they are surprised with a party. Frank makes light-hearted jokes for Matthew while the residents celebrate together. Mantel pays Pat a visit. He admits they misunderstood the situation over Den and that he should not have been beaten up. Pat asks Mantel how he is going to fix the situation but Mantel says he cannot do anything, so Pat threatens to go to the police again. Pete tells Kathy they are spending Christmas with Pauline whether she likes it or not. |
