Summary[]
Sharon has an unnerving encounter with D.S. West. Doctor Samuels gives confidential advice on separate matters to Matthew and Duncan. Carmel is organising a girls-only volleyball match for the youngsters of the Square, but she struggles to raise enough support for her latest community venture.

Ian finds a hungover Simon at the Vic and makes him drive him to the market so he can get vegetables for the café. Arthur and Pauline realise Simon did not return from Reg's party. Carmel organises a girls-only volleyball match. Ricky and Sohail both think it is a man's sport so decide to hold a protest against Carmel and the women. Matthew wants a doctor's appointment with David. Arthur gives Simon a talking to over his behaviour. Pauline decides she wants new wallpaper in her house. David sees Matthew. Matthew tells David he has been suffering with fatigue over the last few weeks. David gives him a prescription. Duncan then visits David and tells him he is thinking of staying around Walford as the local curate. Pat realises her brooch is missing and thinks Mo has taken it. Sue tells Ricky and Sohail to challenge the ladies in a volleyball match. They team up with Ian and Simon but lose to the women. Matthew does not tell Carmel about his visit to the surgery. Pat notices Shireen is wearing her brooch. She gets upset over it and then snaps at Ricky for going through her things. DS West meets with Sharon to try and get information out of her about Den. Benny and Ethel enjoy each other's company at the wine bar. Johnny warns Den that someone has told The Firm that he has been a grass. Brad tells Joanne about Den, while Mantel tells Joanne that they need to kill Den. |
