Summary[]

Peggy gets what she wants but there's a price to pay. Bradley asks a whopping big question, Darren encounters a rival, and Tanya and Jane swap husbands for the week.


Desperate to find the money to get Sam's surety Peggy concedes and sneaks over to Archie for the money. He asks for one small thing in return; he wants to come back to the Vic. Peggy refuses and tries to find help elsewhere. She begs Ronnie but she and Joel have bought a club together. Pat tells Peggy not to give in to Archie but she can't see any other option. Peggy wants Sam out of prison so she speaks to the family to consider Archie's offer but Phil insists that they refuse.

It's the Miss Queen Vic competition but Peggy and Ronnie won't let Janine, Bianca and Tiffany enter. As the competition kicks off Peggy walks through the door with Sam in tow.

Jane prepares some glamorous outfits to become Tanya for the week as they wife-swap. While Tanya approaches the chippy and the café with reluctance, Jane quietly enjoys the arrangement - nice clothes, gorgeous baby, easy work and a husband who cooks. Tanya shudders when she discovers a packet of condoms bought today behind the sofa.

Pat gets nostalgic when she sees a man in the square on a moped. For fun she orders one for hire for the week and has it delivered to Patrick's. But leather-clad Pat is disappointed to discover it's an elderly mobility chair, not what she ordered.

Stacey continues to deceive Jean into thinking she is getting on with her medication but she's sneakily spitting them out. Later, she accosts Archie about his noxious relationship with Janine.

Syd turns down the job in Canada. She has everything she wants in Albert Square. Her and Bradley can be together here.
