Summary[]
Pauline grows tired of Ian and Simon's careless ways of living. The day of Den's bail hearing arrives. Cindy and Ian continue to grow closer.

Sharon is upset over Pat going to Den's bail hearing but not her. Matthew buys Carmel an early birthday present. Trevor has boiling water spilt over his arm by Vic in the prison. Den tells Miss Martin he wants £10,000 for Sharon in case anything happens to him. Joanne gets bitter with Brad at the wine bar. Den tells Pat about his plans to put money in Sharon's name for her in case she needs any of it. Sharon wonders where she will find Den if he is released on bail. Pauline does Ian and Simon's ironing for them at the launderette, but neither of them are around to collect it off her. Brad suspiciously takes a duffel bag over to the Smith and Jameson's portacabin. Den does not receive bail and is taken back to the prison. Trevor's time in prison does not get any easier. Pete plans a surprise for Kathy. She tells Pauline she is trying to cheer herself up but nothing is working. Sharon learns that Den has not received bail and is devastated. Ian takes Cindy back to Number 45, where they share a drink together. Pauline tries to help Sharon make sense of Den's situation, but only manages to upset her even more. Ian and Cindy share a kiss. Pauline walks in on them and reminds Cindy that she is dating Simon. She then turns on Ian and reminds him that he is living in her house and she will not allow him to treat it like a hotel. |
