Summary[]

Nick leaves the Square with a bang. Bianca resolves to be a proper mother, while Christian realises that being Ian Beale is not easy.


Dotty draws the curtains, Dot's lying on the sofa, very still. Nick returns and Dotty hands him a beer. Nick's shocked when Dot walks in to the kitchen. Dotty tells Nick he makes her do things that are wrong, she doesn't want him around anymore. Nick realises Dotty put the pills meant for Dot in his beer. Dotty runs to the launderette in tears and tells Dot what's happened. Patrick and Dot go to the Brannings' but Nick's gone. Nick bundles Dotty into a car but hits the flower stall as he tries to drive away. Nick drags Dotty into the café. He locks the door and keeps Heather, Lucy and the customers hostage. Lauren texts Max to say she and Abi are in the café. Syd and Bradley try to negotiate with Nick and Ryan hands over his car keys. A chip pan catches fire. As the flames take hold Ryan wrestles Nick to the floor and the others make their way out into the fresh air. Thinking Nick's trapped, Bradley runs back into the café. Nick escapes through the back door. A gas pipe ignites and the café explodes, with Bradley inside.

Dawn works at the Vic. Garry's not happy but Dawn says they need spending money. Phil tells Dawn he's stopped drinking but she finds out he's lying.

Bianca and Ricky try to encourage Whitney to sit her exams. Ryan talks to Whitney, but won't tell her his name.

Heather helps Lucy in the café. Shirley's drunk in the chip shop. Christian discovers she's been serving massive portions.

Bradley calls Syd to ask for help. Later, Dot tells Bradley and Patrick that she hasn't felt right for a while, but is okay now.

Max wants to spend the afternoon with Tanya, even if it means cleaning the stove.
