|
Peggy's distressed that everything isn't going as planned and worries about Archie's reaction when she turns up at the church in a dress rather than the suit he specifically picked out for her. Archie wants Ronnie to say a little speech at the reception, but Ronnie declines and tells him he should be grateful that she's coming to the wedding. Tanya gets a call from a troubled Lauren and begins to worry. She decides not to go to the wedding and waits at home for Lauren to call her back. Max also refuses to go and the pair discuss a way of getting their daughter out of prison. Lost in misery, the pair begin to kiss, but Tanya orders him out - she isn't in the right frame of mind. Dotty insults Tiffany on her hair colour causing a dispute between the Jacksons and the Brannings. Once arriving at the church, Peggy starts having doubts about marrying Archie. Phil reminds her that Archie must take her for who she is. She decides to go through with it after all, but a look of disgust overshadows Archie's face when he sees her in her dress. Peggy stands her ground - he either takes her for who she is or doesn't have her at all. The feistiness rubs off on Archie and the ceremony goes ahead as planned. Meanwhile, Danielle has sneaked into an empty Vic and placed her locket in Ronnie's glass, before heading upstairs and beginning to pack Amy's things. Jack makes a mockery out of Janine when he invites her to the reception when she blatantly isn't welcome, giving him the chance to reclaim the car lot. A furious Janine takes her anger out on her family by threatening to tell Tiffany the truth about her parentage once and for all. Ronnie steals Roxy's mobile where she comes across a load of messages from her and Jack, which is a little more than arranging babysitting. The two start brawl which ends in Roxy publicly slapping her at the reception. Jack comforts an upset Ronnie where he declares his true feelings for her. She turns him down, so he tells her whatever happens between him and Roxy is down to her. Max takes it upon himself to change Stacey's plea to save his daughters fate. Stacey gets the wrong end of the stick and attempts to seduce him. Ronnie catches Danielle leaving the Vic with Amy and her belongings. Danielle becomes hysterical and reveals everything to Ronnie. It falls on deaf ears and Ronnie declares her a liar. Archie jumps in and declares her insane. Danielle takes the dispute into the reception and starts revealing all of Archie's faults to the Mitchell family. Ronnie throws her out and asks who'd want her daughter like her anyway. A distraught Danielle decides to leave the Square. As Archie's delivering a speech and an apology for Danielle's outburst, Ronnie comes across the locket that Danielle left her in Roxy's glass. She's distraught and goes after her daughter. Archie chases her after her and when Ronnie tells him that he's going to be on his own, Peggy overhears him insulting her. She orders everyone out of the Vic. Ronnie catches up with Danielle just in time, but as Danielle runs across the road into her mother's arms, a car swerves out of nowhere and mows Danielle down. Janine jumps out of the driver's seat and Stacey runs for help. But it's too late, Danielle passes away in her mother's arms. |
