Summary[]
Donna asks a favour of Michelle and Sharon. Ricky lands a job. Frank receives a letter from his mum Mo. Ashraf worries about Shireen. Sharon pays Joanne a visit.

Cindy kindly helps Kathy on her stall. Ricky gets himself a job as a paperboy, taking over from Sohail, who quit the job because he was assaulted. Donna keeps knocking on Michelle and Sharon's door. They eventually decide to let her in and stay at their flat for one night only. Den gets tired of nothing happening and demands to know what is going on. Christine tells Den that The Firm are arranging for him to go to Rio. She also offers to go with him. Ian is kept busy working at the café with his mobile delivery service and food orders. Dot remains downtrodden over Charlie taking her holiday money. Colin gives her an envelope full of cash and tells her that Kathy and Pauline rallied around to get the residents to put some money in for her. Dot is thrilled, and Colin offers to go on holiday with her too. Donna and Rod talk about being outsiders to the community. Donna tells Rod she told Michelle and Sharon she was staying one night but is planning on staying longer. Ethel enjoys winding Dot up at the Vic, whilst Frank and Simon think of ideas to boost trade at the Vic. Rod boards up Mary's flat himself. Sharon decides to go and see Joanne about Den. Joanne meets with Mantel at the wine bar. Christine looks forward to Rio with Den. Sharon confronts Joanne over Den's disappearance. Joanne is adamant she does not know where Den is, but Sharon sees through her lies. She warns Joanne to have answers for the next time she visits, before telling her if she ever slags Den off again in the Square, she will sort her out. |
