Billy fights to save his marriage while Phil comes under mounting pressure from Suzy. Max stumbles upon some incriminating evidence.

Honey and Billy are at crisis point. She warns him that if she can't trust him, they're over. Billy promises there'll be no more lies but then remembers Jay's money. Desperate not to upset Honey again, he hides it under the bed. Phil makes it clear that he can't help Max, and then he rows with Suzy over the gold bar. She threatens to leave, and Phil yells that he couldn't care less. Suzy storms out and Phil pours himself a drink as Shirley looks on. Danielle's all of a flutter when Callum flirts with her and asks her to lunch. Little does she realise the true object of his affections. Stacey's confused by the effect Callum's having on her and turns up as well. Shirley staggers into the Vic and drops the gold bar in front of Phil. She explains that she didn't want to see him lose Suzy. Phil grins and Shirley turns to see Suzy hasn't left after all. She realises that she's been tricked. Roxy tries to persuade Ronnie to come to Janet's birthday party, but Ronnie doesn't want to see Archie. Billy feels noble for refusing a handout from Archie, but gratefully accepts his offer to hold Janet's party at the Vic. Billy's mood brightens when he finds a giant teddy bear in the road - the ideal present for Janet. As he's washing it, Dot mentions there's a job going at the launderette. Meanwhile, Honey finds the envelope full of cash. Max bumps into Ronnie at the café and manages to swipe a file of Jack's marked 'Penny'. As Max reads reports and cuttings relating to Penny's accident, a smile spreads across his face. Billy babbles on about his good day as Honey waits to deliver her bombshell. She found the money and can't live with his lies any longer. Billy sobs and begs her to stay, but Honey climbs into a taxi and leaves. |
