Max thanks Jack for looking after Tanya and asks him to put in a good word for him. Jack's in an awkward position and Tanya's unsure what to do. Jack reckons they should come clean about their relationship. Jean's misery turns to joy when Ted arrives with flowers. He explains his no-show and asks her on another date. Stacey's suspicious of Ted, and declares that she'll come along as a chaperone. Max tries to build bridges with Bradley, but he gets a frosty reception. He speaks to Abi on the phone and feels fresh hope. Max waits outside his house, determined not to give up on Tanya. Bianca's reluctant to accept money from Pat, until it's explained that her kids earned it by washing cars. Later, Bianca's confused to find that someone's paid off the restaurant bill. Ian helps himself to Tamwar's lunch, which has been left in the café. It tastes delicious and Ian plans to ask Zainab to do some Indian catering for him. Ian's surprised to learn that Masood's the cook, and thinks they have a deal. Jordan has tea at the Truemans'. Denise is impressed by his manners and begrudgingly compliments Lucas on his son. Lucas sees his chance and offers to make up for lost time by being a dad to Chelsea. Jean enjoys her date with Ted, under Stacey's watchful eye. Jean confides in Dot that Stacey's always talking about Bradley. They hatch a plan to trap the pair in Dot's house, thus forcing them to deal with their feelings. Max insists that Tanya hears him out. He missed her every second he was away, and begs to be allowed back home. Tanya feels torn when she sees how good he is with Oscar. Jack calls and urges her not to keep Max in the dark. |
