Summary[]

Ian's investigations lead to the truth about Steven. Bianca tries Ricky's patience by refusing to back down to Zainab's demands.

It's Jane's birthday, and she's touched to get a card from Bobby calling her 'mum'. Christian's also sent a card saying simply - 'Ask Stacey'. Jane does and Stacey's guarded response tells her what she needs to know about Steven.

The Slaters discuss Sean's stash. Mo's pained to bin it, but Charlie stands firm. Having shimmied down a drainpipe, Sean strolls in and makes a big show of flushing the drugs down the sink.

Bianca rips up Zainab's bill for the flowers that Tiffany ruined, and Whitney nicks a top from Stacey's stall. Sick of the kids' antics, Zainab and Mo pay Pat, fresh from her holiday, a visit. They order her to sort the family out.

After finding a muscle mag in Steven's room, Jane gets Ian to talk to Steven. Ian points out that most people don't give a monkey's about someone being gay. "Try telling that to Simon", Steven blurts out.

Ben's busy preparing for his tap exam, encouraged by Peggy, Ronnie and Roxy. Meanwhile, Phil nicks Darren's idea for a team day out - he'll take Ben paintballing. Ben's crushed to discover it clashes with his exam.

Jean bemoans her cake-making disaster to Stacey. She blames herself for getting mixed up - she could've sworn she bought a full tin of baking powder. Stacey wonders if Sean really did get rid of the drugs.

Ian talks to Jane. It looks like they all owe Christian an apology. Ian remarks that, although Steven's screwed up, he's not a bad lad. But Steven's probing about Lucy has upset Ian, and he cries to think she may never come home. Meanwhile, Steven pays a secret visit to a caravan. Lucy's inside. He fills her head with outrageous lies about the family not caring about her. He claims he's being moved into her room - 'It's like the've forgotten all about you.'
