Summary[]
Christian tries to get the bottom of Steven's angst. Roxy and Dawn slug it out in the barmaid of the year competition. Pat finds out the truth about Ricky's situation.
|
Pat's discussion with Darren and Vinnie about the relaunch of the cab firm is interrupted when Gus bursts in. Having thrown up over Dawn at the mention of Sean's dog dish, he wants to round up some muscle to confront him. Jack's disappointed with Ronnie's reluctance to spend time with Penny, but Tanya saves the day by cooking a family meal. Penny admits to her dad that she's not happy in France, and doesn't want to go back. Backed up by Vinnie, Darren and Mickey, Gus tackles Sean about Wellard's whereabouts and asks if he has killed him. Sean smirks and gives a whistle. Wellard comes running in, leaving Gus relieved but looking foolish. Ricky confesses to Pat that since Melinda left him, he's lost his job with her dad's firm and has nowhere to go. Pat offers to let him stay with her, as long as he helps her get the cab firm up and running again. R&R's in full swing as Christian hosts the barmaid of the year competition. Clare makes some advances towards Bradley, but he tells her in no uncertain terms to back off - they're just friends. Clare seethes at the snub. Sean fixes the contest by threatening the judge, who awards the title to Roxy instead of Dawn. Christian overhears Stacey referring to the previous night's disappointment, and confronts Steven: "Admit it, you're still a virgin." Steven loses it, and screams about his made-up conquest. Humiliated, he runs out and attacks Christian. All his anger and confusion comes tumbling out - he so wanted it to be true. Steven kisses Christian hard on the lips. |
