The Beales' house is in turmoil. The police urge the family to try and remember any detail that might have led to Lucy's disappearance. Steven eyes Ian when he insists that there's nothing else to mention. Shirley's not herself at work, and Phil suggests an afternoon out at the dogs. Shirley accepts, only for Phil to take her to the hospital instead. She tries on a sob story, but Phil's got her number - she's just scared. Tanya's shocked to find Sean packed and ready to leave. He tells her he loves her, and that if she feels the same, she'll come too. Tanya begs him to stay and help her get rid of Max, there's no other way to be free of him. Heather admits to Minty that her mum's blackmailing her to stay in the flat. The pair also share that they were both planning to give the prize money to each other. Just as they go to embrace, Queenie ruins the moment. Sean bottles out of his plan and heads for the Vic. Max comes in and taunts him for being a drunken waster. Max points out that he has a business and a family to look after. Fired up, Sean pays Tanya another visit. Phil's pleased that Shirley went through with the hospital appointment. Back at the Vic, she thanks him sincerely for helping her through it, and admits that she's scared. They share a tender moment as they hug. Steven's put out to overhear Jane quizzing Stacey about what he got up to on the night of the party. Later, he reveals that Ian's the one who knocked Lucy to the ground. Ian's speechless when Jane confronts him. Tanya's paranoid and hysterical. Sean insists that the plan's crazy but she won't be swayed. She begs him not to make her do it on her own, and Sean eventually capitulates. Tanya decides that Friday's the day. |
