Summary[]
Ian is set for The Palace, but Lucy has different plans. As Minty and Heather celebrate their good news, Tanya makes a huge sacrifice.
Minty's upset to receive a postcard from Hazel telling him to forget her, but Heather thinks it could be a sign. It was sent from a cruise ship at Southampton dock - maybe Hazel wants Minty to pursue her! Ian and Jane head off up town for a romantic night ahead of the investiture. Christian intends to take the kids on a day trip, but Lucy worms her way out of it. Steven tries to talk her out of holding the party. Romance is in the air at Ian and Jane's hotel. The champagne's on ice and Jane's brought some lingerie - they're in for a special night. Back home, the booze is flowing at the Beales' as guests start arriving. Tanya finally gets her way. She watches with bated breath as Max signs over £100k to her - "I'll pay you to love me." Tanya insists it's not about the money, as she takes his hand and leads him upstairs. Lucy and the party are both raging out of control. Steven tries to throw everyone out, only for Lucy to put the music back on and smash the telly. Reluctantly, Steven phones the hotel. Meanwhile, Charlie calls the police. Minty decides to fly to the Caribbean to try and win Hazel back. Heather's still happy to play along with the wedding - she wants one day in her life when she can feel beautiful. Minty softens, and tells her that she is. Heather's brought back down to earth when she finds her mum on her doorstep. Queenie says she's come to meet the man who's willing to marry a pig. Meanwhile, Ian and Jane return to a scene of devastation. Lucy laughs as she welcomes them home. Ian's furious. The pair have a screaming row, and Lucy slaps him round the face. When Ian hits her back, he's immediately horrified. He stutters he's sorry, as Lucy flees the room. |
