Summary[]
Lucy's ultimate act of rebellion pushes Ian to his limit. The final round of the wedding competition looms.

After practising all night for the magazine love quiz, Minty and Heather's hard work pays off when they get the highest score. However, the quiz master suspects something's amiss, so they snog to prove their love's genuine. There's boxing and a race in the Square to raise money for Sport Relief. Phil has been winding Jase up, and Jack suggests they get in the ring. It's a friendly fight and later Phil declares a truce between them. Tanya's struggling to reassure Max that she's not still seeing Sean, whilst Sean's worried she'll fall for Max's charms now he's moved back in. She's adamant she'll stick to the plan. Marge the guinea pig is looking peaky so Tanya takes it with her to Booty to keep an eye on it. Sadly it doesn't make it through the day, and Max has to break the news to a devastated Abi. The Beales have drinks to celebrate Ian and Jane's impending visit to the Palace. Jane can't help having a dig at Max, but Tanya stands by her man. In his defence, she reveals how Jim put him in a coffin when he was a boy. Lucy arrives home and showers Ian in the torn-up Palace invitation. He's furious, but they end up having a heart-to-heart. Ian decides to forget about the Queen and spend the day with Lucy instead. When Christian discovers that they can still go to the Palace without the invitation, Ian goes back on his word to Lucy. She pretends not to mind, but sends out an email inviting over 300 people to a party at the Beales'. |
