Summary[]

Bradley's decision hangs in the balance as he spends the afternoon with Stacey. At a low ebb, Tanya seeks comfort in Sean, and Mo tries to persuade Charlie to place a personal ad.

Bradley gives Stacey the envelope, but she hesitates to open it. She has some questions she needs answering first. Bradley explains that the girl she saw earlier is just his flatmate, not a new girlfriend.

Upset by the showdown in court, Tanya loses it and screams at the girls to pack - they're all leaving. Abi begs Tanya not to make her choose between her parents. Tanya relents when she sees her daughters' devastation.

Stacey confesses to Bradley that she can't function without him. Bradley comforts Stacey but looks unmoved by her pleas. He explains that he's been thinking of getting away from it all by going travelling.

Tanya watches as a taxi draws into the Square. The legal assistant who lost the incriminating DVD kisses Max. Tanya regains her composure and pours herself a drink as she puts in a call to her lawyer.

Inspired by receiving a mystery Valentine's card, Mo persists with her project. She writes Charlie a lonely hearts ad, but he orders her to screw it up. Later, Charlie retrieves it and enters it in the Walford Gazette.

Stacey latches on to Bradley's dreams - they could go round the world together, maybe even settle down somewhere. She tells Bradley she loves him and opens the card. She crumples as she finds her wedding ring inside.

After grassing up the legal assistant, Tanya's revelling in getting her own back on scheming Max. She reads Sean's Valentine's card - 'if you need me, you know where I am'. Emboldened by booze, she asks him over.

Bradley smiles ruefully as he explains to Stacey that even if she never looks at another man, it's too late. He loves her, but he can never trust her again. Stacey's distraught as he says goodbye and walks out of her life.
