Punches fly when Roxy comes clean about Jack. Minty's on cloud nine after Hazel's revelation but she's not ready to tell everyone their news, and Dot struggles to deal with news of her own after visiting Jim.

Having spent the night with Jack, Ronnie plans to sneak home before Roxy gets up. Jack asks her to move in with him, but she turns him down. Roxy's fuming when she spots her sister leaving Jack's. Hazel asks Minty to keep quiet about the baby until she's had a check-up. Excited Minty can't keep it to himself, and soon Garry and Phil both know. Later, Hazel looks worried after a visit to the doctor. Roxy warns Jack to stay away from Ronnie, or she'll reveal that he slept with Selina. Jack accuses Roxy of jealously trying to ruin her sister's happiness. Jack asks Dot what she's planning to do about Jim, as he's soon to be discharged. Dot wants him to come home, but Jack wonders how she'd cope, and thinks he'd be better off in a nursing home. Ronnie claims to have had a quiet night in, angering Roxy. Later, Ronnie admits to Jack that she's sick of living with her sister. He repeats his offer, and asks her to meet him for lunch to give him the answer. When Ronnie breaks it to Roxy that she's moving in with Jack, she begs her to change her mind. Ronnie's sure that her sister's just jealous, until Roxy reveals that Jack slept with Selina. Jack's waiting at Fargo's for Ronnie. She turns up, but instead of accepting his offer, she punches him. Ronnie returns to the Vic and announces to Peggy that there's been a change of plan - she's not moving out after all. Dot tapes messages for Jim from his friends in the Square, but can't find the words to record her own. Later, she admits to Yolande that Jim's coming out of hospital and she doesn't know if she can care for him. |
