Summary[]

With Shirley unable to work, Vinnie stands in and livens up the Vic. Kevin hosts a dinner for the Masoods which ends in disaster. In the middle of the night, Steven persuades Lucy that there's something she has to see.


Vinnie promises Shirley that she won't be left out of pocket on account of the accident, but instead of cash, he works her shift at the Vic. Shirley is unimpressed, but is confused when he asks her out and leaves her wages with a note.

Zainab accuses Kevin of selling her a dodgy motor. He sends Carly round to fix it and invites the Masoods for dinner in an attempt to get Denise her job back. Denise is livid at dinner when Zainab announces that she's bought Number 41.

Lucy is relieved that Steven's getting rid of the gun for her. Jane is confused by his edgy behaviour. Lucy urges Steven to hand the gun in to the police, however when he goes to the station, DS Grimwood gives him a hard time and he keeps the weapon. Steven admits to Lucy he still has the gun - he begs her to come with him, he has something to show her.
