It is the day of Tom's funeral and Dot reminds several residents. Donna expresses interest in buying Tom's flat, which Dot finds disrespectful. Colin tells Dot he will not be able to attend the funeral as he is feeling low. Mary runs late for her shift at the launderette and when she gets there, Pauline tells her she has been fired. Carmel informs Arthur of the council's plan to close the community centre. Kathy finds Lou hiding from Dot at Number 45. Dot gets upset when no one attends Tom's funeral. A lonely Colin heads to the Vic to get drunk. Kathy tells Lou about Donna being her daughter. Lou is in disbelief. Angie does not like the squatters hanging around in the Vic and gives them a warning. Carmel stitches Darren up to the school authority and then tells him she will no longer allow him to live in her flat. Den phones Angie from Henry's Wine Bar to invite her over there for drinks. Donna talks with Alan about letting her have the upstairs flat at Number 43. Pat is given a shock when her husband, Brian, shows up unexpectedly. Frank threatens Brian and he quickly leaves again. Colin believes he has made some friends at the Vic. Den asks Angie to spend the night with him. Lou visits Dot after the funeral and admits she did not attend as she has been feeling "touchy". She rallies up her family to help celebrate Tom's life. Colin is attacked by the two men he meets in the Vic. Doctor Legg rushes over and notices another man attending to Colin. It is David Samuels, his nephew. |
