Summary[]
Donna continues to flirt with Ian, seeming to want to get at Simon. Kathy is not impressed with Donna, worrying she will hurt Ian. Dot helps Mary out at the launderette, leaving Ethel, who has visited to see her, alone.

Kathy advises Ian to leave Donna alone, but he tells her he can look after himself. Kathy then takes the matter into her own hands, and summons Donna round to the flat, to have a word. The circumstances become nothing but a bombshell for Kathy when Donna tells her she's her daughter and she used Ian to get closer to her. Kathy destroys Donna's wishes and dreams of reuniting with her birth mother when she commands her to leave Walford and her family alone. Arthur has taken a keen interest in gambling since Ali's lucky win of £4000 and is over the moon when he wins on the horses. Mary falls straight to medicated pills for ease and snaps at a customer in the laundrette after discovering that Rod is moving back to the Square with a few of his friends, rather than her. Michelle bounds to her rescue. Junior's skipping school and blighting all of his money on fruit machines, Lofty leaps to his defence after Carmel catches him. Duncan finds Lofty a job as a handyman in a children's society home. Meanwhile, Den's astonished to see Angie corresponding to virtually everything he recommends. |
