Summary[]
Frank is devastated to hear about Janine but finds comfort in Pat. Stacey gives her mother hope. Jake goes looking for trouble.

Pat explains to Frank that she's testifying against Janine. Later, she finds him sobbing uncontrollably about Janine. She tells him about recent family events, and advises him to skip the trial, his presence may upset Janine. Stacey tells her mother that she must give up the booze and take her medication. Mo visits and is shocked to find Jean paranoid and living in a mess, Stacey's adamant she can cope. Stacey and Jean row, but Stacey reassures her mum. Chrissie tells her brief about the lost bail money, and plans to call Sharon as her witness. The lawyer mocks Jake about losing the money, Jake reacts angrily and drinks in a nightclub, where he yields to advances of a beautiful stranger, Ferne. Frank urges Pat to stay the night, she fears her credibility as a witness will be affected, but gives in. |
