Summary[]
The boys arrive in France. Garry drives, whilst Minty looks at the map. Gus has brought some food and drink - which the others soon help themselves too. Mickey's visit to see his sister is more than he bargained for.
Mickey has been invited over to France by his sister, Dawn, who's been travelling in Europe for the last three years. Tagging along on the trip are Juley, Gus, Minty and Garry. They are impressed by Dawn's French abode, however, she's less impressed by the entourage. Juley is full of his new job in the music industry but has forgotten that it's Gus' 23rd birthday. Gus is sullen and is fed up being branded as organised and boring by the lads - a real 'Pauline'. The lads head off for the nearest village leaving Mickey and Dawn to catch up. Searching for a local bar they inadvertently gate-crash a buffet spread laid out for a wake - much to the chagrin of the mourners! Dawn has a surprise for Mickey - the trip has been engineered to introduce Mickey to his father Mike Swann. |
