Sharon struggles to come to terms with the news of her father's grisly death and Chrissie being taken in for questioning at the police station. Sam continues to protest her innocence, but she is left horrified when Chrissie implicates her as the murderer. Chrissie's statement proves to be too convincing for the police and, followed by Zoe's development, they end up charging Sam for Den's murder. Chrissie is released and, as Jake reappears to console her, seems relieved that it is apparently all over. As Sam gets taken into her cell, she cries out, "It was Chrissie!" - distraught to have been put in the frame for Den's murder. |
