The Ferreiras worry that they can't meet Johnny's demands. Ash maintains that he'll have to accept that they don't have the cash. It's left to Ash to tell Johnny. Sonia shows Jim the newspaper report. She can't stop worrying about Chloe. She needs to see her to ensure that she's ok. She promises Jim that it isn't an excuse to get close to Chloe again. The police visit Johnny to talk about Ruby. Later, he's in a bad mood when Ash tries to reason with him. He informs Ash that he's taking Toucan Cars and wants the Ferreiras out of Walford. The Millers listen intently as Mickey and Kareena decide to give their relationship another try. Meanwhile, Sasha and Adi agree that breaking up is for the best. Jim takes Sonia to the funeral. She scans the church for Chloe but leaves when she sees that she's not there. Sonia's thrilled when she recognises the little girl outside the church. Johnny's shocked to hear from the police that Ruby ran away from school after assaulting a pupil. Ruby tries to explain, but they're interrupted when his phone rings. Ash breaks the news to the family. He reckons that they've got off lightly. Mickey begs Kareena not to leave him. Reluctantly, she agrees to stay and hugs her brothers goodbye. Sonia's captivated by Chloe. She introduces herself to Kay, Chloe's minder, as a friend of Chloe's adoptive mum. Kay invites Sonia to the funeral tea and gives her Chloe's address. Jake informs Johnny that he's found the stolen cars. The conversation turns to Ruby. She overhears Johnny belittle her troubles by saying that she's just a moody teenager. Ruby complains to Jake that Johnny doesn't want her around. Jake urges her to tell Johnny about the mugging, but she refuses. Meanwhile, Tina waits in Fargo's for Johnny. Sonia promises Jim that she finally has the closure she needs. Despite her claim, she's clearly struggling to deal with the feelings that seeing her daughter have unearthed. Tina's furious with Johnny for standing her up. He quietens her, explaining that Ruby's there. Tina wants to meet her, but he pushes her out the door before she has a chance. Kareena has a change of heart when she sees her brothers making their farewell procession through the Square. She kisses Mickey, then gets in the car and leaves Walford. Ruby threatens to leave. She asks why Johnny keeps secrets from her. He didn't even tell her that he'd moved house. She feels that he doesn't know her. Johnny's evasive when Ruby attempts to discuss the death of her mother and sister, Scarlet, in a fire. He loses his cool and sends Ruby to her room. Tears fill his eyes as he stares at a family picture. Sonia throws Chloe's address in the bin when she discovers that Martin has arranged a special treat for her. Later, she retrieves the address and agonises over what to do. |
