Summary[]

Zoe wakes up at Sam's and confides in her that she wants to go to the police and tell them everything, but Sam manages to talk her out of it. Meanwhile, Keith offers his services to Ian to help him deliver his fliers. Rosie is delighted when he returns with some money but her happiness is short-lived when Ian arrives wanting his money back and he knows Keith gave the flyers to Darren and Peter to deliver. Rosie then gets a letter saying that they won't be getting any more benefit money and they owe hundreds of pounds. Jane lends Lucy some of her DVDs but is told by Ian not to try so hard to fit in.

Zoe still believes that she killed Den. She feels guilty for dragging Sam and Chrissie into a situation for which they're not responsible. Sam struggles to convince her not to go to the police.

Lucy charms Jane into lending some DVDs to her friend. Jane's offended when Ian warns her not to give in to Lucy's demands. She doesn't have to be a pushover to win Lucy's respect.

Zoe asks Little Mo why she pleaded guilty to Trevor's attempted murder. Little Mo replies that she needed punishment to forgive herself. Zoe asks her to deliver a message to Sam - she can't do what Sam asked.

Sam's shocked when Chrissie continues the pretence that Zoe killed her husband. Sam hands Chrissie a solicitor's letter for her to sign over Sam's half of the Vic.

Sonia's angry that Martin apologised to Pauline about their mortgage payments. She vows to inform Pauline that it's their mortgage and they've nothing to apologise to her for!

Keith talks Ian into giving him a job handing out Beale's Plaice flyers. His legendary back complaint soon starts to play up, so he pays Peter and Darren to do the grunt work for him.

Chrissie plays the grieving widow, arguing that it's too soon after Den's death to sign the legal contract. Sam warns her that she won't be conned out of the Vic a second time.

Danny's defensive when Jake reveals that he knows his secret. Jake bruises Danny's ego by telling him that he's incapable of looking after himself. Danny storms out, stating that Jake needn't worry about him anymore.

Chrissie and Sam spring into action when Little Mo delivers Zoe's message. Chrissie storms into the Slaters' and wrestles the phone from Zoe's hand. She screams that if Zoe confesses, they'll all go down with her. Zoe protests that she must tell the truth, despite the consequences. Sam persuades her calmly not to let Den destroy her a second time. Chrissie's impressed by her skilful manipulation.

Adi's worried that Sasha's social life is getting in the way of their relationship. She explains that she's a party girl, with or without him. They make up, but her face reveals doubts.

Ian's irate when he realises that Keith paid Peter to bunk off school. Later, Rosie breaks down when she learns that they've been found guilty of benefit fraud. They must repay £500.

Stacey's critical of Lucy and Jane's make-up lesson. She decides to give Lucy a 'proper makeover'. Ian's furious when he sees the results. Jane's forced to back him up.

Danny vents his anger towards Jake. Alfie points out that if he was Danny's brother, he wouldn't have Jake's patience with him. Later, Danny tries to make peace but Jake's still hurt.

Reluctantly, Martin explains to Pauline that she must treat him and Sonia as equals. When he and Sonia leave, Pauline makes it clear that she won't give up control of Martin that easily.

Sam squares up to Chrissie. Chrissie's stunned when Sam reveals that she knows that Chrissie killed Den. Sam threatens to reveal all unless Chrissie signs over not half, but all of the Vic.
