Andy snaps at Pat when she quizzes him about Zoe's stall. She doesn't know that he ordered Eddie to trash it. Later, Andy threatens Alfie with further vandalism if he doesn't pay up. Sam explains to Zoe that she wants her pub back. She adds that Chrissie's lined up the paperwork. Zoe flips, realising that it's just about money for them. She wants to take revenge her own way. Lucy admits to Pauline that she doesn't want Jane to move in. She points out that Ian has a poor track record with women. Pauline urges Lucy to speak to Ian about her worries. Andy invites Danny to be the front man for the job. Danny's suspicious until Andy flatters him, praising his capability. Andy offers him £2,000. Nonchalantly, Danny says that he'll think about it. Chrissie's anxious when Den takes her on a mystery outing. She fears that Zoe's told him about the abortion. Den shows her Angie's grave. He explains that Chrissie's his future now. Andy's livid when Johnny mentions that the job's been brought forward. Johnny's annoyed and questions his competence. He expresses his disgust at Andy's lack of respect for the neighbourhood. Zoe cries on Alfie's shoulder. She wishes that Kat was there for her. Alfie reminds Zoe that she's much stronger than she thinks. Zoe applies her lippy and heads to the Vic to find Den. Den shares his desire for children with Chrissie. She's furious as he's never shown an interest before. Den claims that he'll do right by her this time. Chrissie mutters that she won't end up like Angie. Alfie confronts Andy about Zoe's stall. Andy demands 30% of his takings. Alfie lashes out when he makes a snide comment about Kat. At the stall, Alfie pays him the money reluctantly. Jane explains to Peter and Lucy that she's decided to delay moving in. Lucy apologises for being awkward, before declaring that she wants her to live with them. Jane's over the moon. Chrissie intercepts Zoe. She insists that Den didn't care about Zoe's baby - he wants kids with her now. Zoe's vulnerable and sobs that she's lost her baby and her self-respect. Pat knows that Andy was behind the stall trashing and mixed up in Paul's death. She tells him that he's losing his grip. Andy threatens to kill her if she doesn't keep quiet. He sacks her on the spot. Johnny's intrigued when Pat warns him to keep a close eye on Andy. Meanwhile, Andy lures Danny into doing the job. He sells it as a chance to make Johnny look foolish. Rosie's devastated when Keith returns from his medical. He's no longer eligible for benefits. She accuses Pauline of shopping him. A brawl breaks out between the Fowlers and Millers. Den turfs them all out. Zoe wants Den to hurt forever, and even suggests a hitman. Chrissie relishes the chance to watch him suffer. She reckons that she knows his weak spot. She vows to make his heart bleed. |

- Den leaping over the bar to intervene in a fight between Pauline Fowler and Rosie Miller at the Vic could be seen as a deliberate homage to the first episode, where Den also jumped over the bar to separate a brawl between Ali Osman and Nick Cotton.
- Radio Times synopsis: Chrissie and Sam do their best to get Zoe onside, while Den tries to lay an old ghost to rest.
- Viewing Figures: UK broadcast - 11,811,000 viewers (6th place).
Dialogue[]
JOHNNY ALLEN: (about Angie Watts) I remember carrying her upstairs once after a party, me and Lou Beale's boy, Pete. She was singing all the way. DEN WATTS: There was always someone carrying her upstairs.
LUCY BEALE: Dad's like Henry the Eighth. He can't do wives.
ZOE SLATER: I remember this one time in school these kids had been picking on me. Kat turned up in the playground - she was a goth then. You should have seen their faces - they thought the angel of death had come to get 'em.
