Summary[]
It's the day of Paul's funeral and Patrick is intent on getting justice for his son. Meanwhile, the Moons move into their new house. Alfie is still bemused as to how Danny got the house. Ian and Jane tell the twins about their relationship.

Patrick reveals to Sam that he's notified the police about Andy and Paul's drug dealing. He predicts that Andy will be in jail by the time that Paul's in the ground. Charlie corners Den and demands to know where Dennis is - he's worried about Zoe. She hasn't been eating or sleeping for the past few days. Den listens with interest. Patrick informs Andy that he's received incriminating evidence of his involvement in Paul's murder. He warns Andy to expect a visit from the police. Andy guesses the informant's identity and heads for Beale's Plaice. Sam stands her ground in the face of Andy's bullying. He tells her that he's just a middleman and it's his bosses that she should be scared of - they killed Paul for being a grass. Her fate will be the same if she speaks to the police. Den confronts Zoe about the rumours of her condition. She swears that she lied to Charlie and Chrissie to conceal the fact that she's not pregnant. Den orders Zoe to meet him later. Chrissie spies them in heated conversation. Dot tries to offer Patrick religious consolation but he has other things on his mind. The police arrive to speak to Sam as the hearse passes through the Square. Zoe admits to Den that she's pregnant but pretends that he's not the father. He threatens to reveal all to Charlie unless she tells the truth. She confesses tearfully that the baby is Den's. Lucy's suspicions about Ian and Jane's relationship are confirmed by Stacey. Lucy's horrified to think of what her father's been getting up to. Stacey hints that this is a lucrative situation that Lucy could manipulate. Anthony preaches that they must release all anger and embrace Paul's memory with love. Patrick's incensed. He walks out stating that Paul can't rest in peace until his killer's found. Danny delivers a stolen van full of dodgy furniture to the new house. Once he's doctored the electricity supply, the Moons move in. Nana's delighted that they're safe in their own home at last. Ian announces to his kids that he and Jane are an item. Peter's pleased. Lucy's silence concerns Jane. Later, Lucy heads triumphantly to the Minute Mart with £20 in guilt money. Stacey takes her 50 per cent cut. Sam plays innocent to the police. After the funeral, Anthony accuses her of raising his father's hopes about Paul's killer. Sam reveals that she knows how Paul died. Den plays the caring 'grandfather' and offers to pay a monthly contribution towards Zoe's baby's upkeep. Chrissie makes light of it but later asks him why he's suddenly decided to get involved with the baby. The electricity goes at the Moons. Alfie demands the number of the letting agent to get the problem fixed. He's furious when he learns that they're living in a squat. Anthony forces Sam to reveal the truth to Patrick. She tells him that he's wrong about Andy. His bosses called in a hit on Paul. Patrick kicks her out. Patrick struggles to deal with Sam's revelation. Anthony tries to persuade him that Paul's killer may never be found. Patrick sobs that his brutal murder must be avenged. |
