It's Zoe's 21st birthday. Little Mo presents her with the best stretch-mark cream on the market! Mo cooks a big birthday fry up. Zoe suddenly feels sick and runs for the bathroom. Pat struggles to deal with the burden of knowing what happened to Paul. She admits to Andy that she can't sleep at night. She needs to talk about it. Andy warns her to keep quiet. It's cramped and chaotic at the Moon abode. Danny whispers to Jake that the only solution is to find an empty house. Later, he breaks into Pat's old house at Number 41. Ian wants to come clean to Peter and Lucy about him and Jane. Jane tries to persuade him that a secret relationship could be exciting. She promises him a night of passion while the kids are tucked up in bed. Den corners Zoe. He's got a bottle of champagne in his hand but little birthday cheer in mind. He urges her to announce the end of her 'pregnancy' so that Chrissie doesn't find out. She agrees to do it soon. Sam visits Patrick to pay her condolences. She lets slip that Paul was involved in drugs with Andy. Patrick begs her to tell him if Andy killed Paul. She fails to convince him that she knows nothing of Paul's death. Little Mo catches Zoe taking a pregnancy test. Zoe's distraught when she sees the positive result. She pretends that she feared she'd lost the baby and that she's crying tears of relief. Anthony returns home for the funeral. Patrick tells him that Sam knows why Paul was murdered. Later, Sam admits reluctantly to him that Paul was involved in Andy's criminal activities. Chrissie's confused when she hears about Zoe's miscarriage scare. She mentions it casually to Den to gauge his reaction. He suggests that it's just Zoe's pregnancy nerves. Chrissie interrogates Zoe about her pregnancy. She's sure that Dennis will be a committed father like Den. Zoe snipes that Den will have no contact with her baby. Chrissie keeps a brave face but breaks down when she leaves. Andy claims to Anthony that he was friends with Paul. He promises to hand himself in if Patrick finds evidence of his involvement with Paul's death. Anthony isn't convinced. Danny produces the keys to Number 41. He convinces Alfie that it's legitimate. Jake's angry at Danny for bringing Nana to a squat. Patrick admits that he has no evidence that Andy killed Paul. He begs Anthony to believe that Paul was an innocent victim. Anthony urges him to give up and accept Paul's death - but he can't. Ian's frustrated when Peter and Lucy refuse to go to bed. When they've finally gone, Jane agrees that they'll have to come clean about their relationship. She can't keep her hands off him for much longer! Zoe's not in the mood for her birthday party. She struggles to stem her tears as she admits that she isn't up to clubbing. She'd rather stay in. Chrissie confronts Den about Zoe. She claims that Zoe needs their support. Den's stunned when she drops the bombshell that Zoe took a test and she really is pregnant. |
