Summary[]

Tired of putting on a cheerful front, Alfie leaves Spencer in charge and takes a well-earned break from the Vic. Desperate to let off steam, he heads to Angie's Den, where he relaxes over a few drinks - and comes face to face with temptation. Sam is shocked when she receives a call from Minty, who's in hospital. Suspicious about what's happened to him, she confronts Andy, who denies knowing anything. But, later, Andy pays Minty a visit. Dennis and Chrissie are confident that they have caught Tommy out and triumphantly head home. However, the situation is not as simple as it first seems and the tables are soon turned on them.

Sam's shocked to hear that Minty has been beaten up and is in hospital.

Chrissie wants to make sure that Vicki visits Tommy while he has a girl in the house.

A contact offers Paul a cut of a big drugs deal.

Alfie can't concentrate on work and abandons the Vic and leaves Spencer in charge.

Jim demands that the Millers clear up the rubbish dumped outside his house.

Andy pays Minty a visit and threatens to kill him if he interferes in his marriage again.

Paul goes to see Andy and ends up discussing his drug deal with him.

Alfie drowns his sorrows in Angie's Den and starts flirting with Miranda.
