Summary[]

Dot's behaviour upsets Pauline and Sonia - she still hasn't told anyone about her cancer. Paul's conscience gets the better of him. Meanwhile, Dennis sees another side to Zoe and reconsiders his future.

Zoe tells Dennis that Andy hit her, hoping he will beat him up to avenge Kat. Kat realises what she's done and tells her that she's stupid. Zoe then worries that Dennis will find out that she's lied and dump her.

Meanwhile, Dennis finds Andy in the bookies and hits him. Andy tells him that he's got it wrong and explains that he forced Kat to sleep with him. Dennis then asks Zoe to move in with him. She's thrilled, but he wonders if he's done the right thing.

Kate dismisses Den's advances and attempts to make up with Ian. She is surprised to see that he is not angry with her and they begin to rebuild their friendship. Kate suggests the type of woman Ian needs to be with, and unbeknown to him, there is someone in the Square who meets all the criteria.

Zoe is secretly delighted when a confrontation between Dennis and Andy escalates. Later, Dennis realises that he has seen another side to Zoe and considers his options again.

Martin tries his best to build bridges between Pauline and Sonia but, after constant interference from Pauline, Sonia tells Martin she has had enough.

Paul is late for his first practice as trainer of the basketball team. At first he does not take it seriously, but soon realises he needs to be committed, and together with Derek comes up with a fundraising idea.
