Summary[]
Kat is surprised when she hears about Sam and Andy's engagement and vows to tell Sam that she is making a terrible mistake. Sam, however, is convinced that Andy is a changed man and refuses to heed Kat's warning. Minty heads for the Arches to pay Garry a visit but can't believe the scene that awaits him. He acts on instinct, quickly overcoming his feelings of shock and panic, to save the day. Dot confides in Dennis about her recent doctor's visit and he is further concerned to learn that she has been referred to a specialist.

Billy's angry with Minty about the video shop job. Patrick is sad that his sons can't make it back for the wedding. Yolande is wistful for hymns. Minty discovers Garry and takes him to the hospital. Garry talks to a psychiatrist and says things got on top of him. He won't tell anyone and he won't try it again. Billy tells Kat that Sam and Andy are engaged. Nana has bought an ugly porcelain dog which Spencer later breaks the head off. Kat and Alfie fear for Sam marrying Andy - they don't think he has changed. Sam tells Kat that she knows everything and that Andy has changed. Kat doesn't believe it. Dot tells Dennis that she's been referred to hospital. Dennis says he'll be there for her. Garry tells Minty he's all right, he still has concerns but leaves. Garry breaks down and cries. Minty comes back to check on him. Garry hasn't told Mo or Charlie - he ushers him out. |
